Ball of light circled above aerodrome, descended, hung hovering few feet above runway, 3-4 minutes, emitted blue, green, orange flashes. Shot straight up at staggering speed.
An object was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One multi-colored sphere was observed by numerous male witnesses at an airport for over four minutes (Harvey, L). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
