Wharfmen incident.
Group of wharfmen, unloading wheat from ship, spot bluish white oval shaped object, 15' diameter, 500 feet altitude, project beam of white light onto sea, went to the northwest, no sound, no navigation lights. An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One white oval object, about 20 feet across, was observed by a male experienced witness on the shore. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
