Gold and blue mass of lights hovered silently over trees, 75m away. Watched for 20 minutes as it fluttered over trees, called police, when back object gone.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One multi-colored light, about 20 feet across, was observed in cloudy weather by three female witnesses, typical age 68, in a forest for 20 minutes (Town). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 103: Report attributed to a known source of unknown or uncalibrated reliability; no site visit, or answer unknown; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
