Large silver disc hovered over field. Green cone of light extended from object as coherent light beam. Flew rapidly to the west
Hovering objects were observed. Multiple independent witnesses. Several silver discs, twice the size of the moon, were observed in cloudy weather by one male 26-year-old witness in a field for 48 seconds (Borrett; Fall; Haylett; McNab; Morse; Rainback). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
