Three SAMs fired at orange ball that hovered for more than an hour in clear blue sky over Hanoi. Missiles were unable to reach it. Explanation: Balloon.
An object was observed using optical instruments. One orange ball was observed in clear weather by a male military witness in a city for over an hour (Thoraval; Thoval).
