Navy Lab Tech. Writer incident.
Hovered at 25 degrees elevation, stationary one minute. Like burning phosphorus, brightest thing in sky. Fell from sky to hovering position, left straight up. Unusual objects were sighted, that had unconventional appearance and performance. Two bright round objects, larger than a star, were observed in clear weather by more than two male witnesses, typical age 39, in the suburbs for over three minutes (Yedinak). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops. Vallee reliability rating: 444: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a skilled analyst; no natural explanation possible, given the evidence.
