Cherokee 6 incident. Explanation: Balloon.
Radar/visual confirmation. Private pilot follows 8 orange nocturnal lights, one dove into Puget Sound. Objects were tracked by radar and sighted visually. Multiple independent witnesses. Nine orange lights were observed by one experienced male witness on the ocean for 40 minutes (Malaspina). Hynek rating: RV: Radar-Visual UFO reports Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO.
