State Police incident. Explanation: Meteor.
Radar/visual confirmation. Naval Air Station tracked UFO, observed visually by State Police as erratically moving tear-drop shaped. An object was tracked by radar and sighted visually. One teardrop-shaped object was observed by a male military witness at an airfield (Hayes). Hynek rating: RV: Radar-Visual UFO reports Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO.
