Keats Island, British Columbia, Canada
White ball of light went back and forth in small area in front of beach, over water, making sound like "angry hornets". Also domed disc "kettle" shaped object with aerial would fly around on many nights.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One white ball was observed in stormy weather by one single female witness on the shore (Niblett). A buzzing sound was heard.
Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind
Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
