Commercial Pilot incident. Explanation: Aircraft.
40 feet UFO flew few hundred feet from witness, longer than full moon, had steady white light up front, speed 30 mph, wheezing turbine sound. Horizontal flight. An object was observed from a car. One fuselage-shaped object, about 40 feet across, was observed in clear weather by three male witnesses, typical age 28, on a highway for five minutes (Brown). A turbine-like sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 332: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
