Two couples in separate cars, westbound, see silver sphere with Saturn rings or "straw hat" as big as moon, moving fast. Flew silently over car, to the east.
An object was observed. It buzzed a witness. Multiple independent witnesses. One silver Saturn-shaped object, the size of the moon, was observed by four witnesses, typical age 34, on a highway for 30 seconds (Bellonis). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 443: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
