Radar/visual confirmation. three A-7 jets scrambled in pursuit of large oval object, moving slowly, 30 degrees above southwest horizon; object vanished
An object was tracked by radar and sighted visually. Multiple independent witnesses. One silver oval object was observed by more than four male experienced witnesses at an airfield for over 24 seconds (Kerstetter).
