In mid-August 1965 16:00 Waverly, Iowa, USA 
Ground marks: 15-20 feet circle burnt grass, three indentations of 5"x12", 1" deep. High-pitched whine, aluminum disc 15-20 feet diameter. When 150m from site saw 3.5' tall being with bald head, hiding behind tree.
A flying disc was observed. Occupants of the craft were seen. Ground traces were found. One aluminum disc, about 20 feet across, was observed by three witnesses, typical age 14, at a quarry for over one minute (Gibson, D). A high-pitched sound was heard. One 3.5-foot-tall grey being was seen. Hynek rating: CE3: Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Entity reports) Vallee rating: CE3: Entities have been observed on the UFO.
