Trace remnants. 5 nocturnal lights in close formation, 100mph. Lands, smoke rises, 6 burnt trees at landing site.
Objects were observed and photographed. Ground traces were found. Five red lights, about 1 foot across, were observed in clear weather by four witnesses (as reported to the police) in a yard for two minutes (Floyd; Locklear; Strickland). Hynek rating: CE2: Close Encounters of the Second Kind Vallee rating: CE2: A CE1 that leaves landing traces or injuries to the witness.
