Instrumented observation
Objects were observed using optical instruments. Two objects, 20% bigger than the moon, were observed in clear weather by one male witness on the ocean for 30 seconds (Rasmussen). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
