20m diameter disc, shrinks to nothing. trace remnants: snapped tree branches, scorched earth. Explanation: Hoax.
An object was observed. Metallic traces found. One disc, about 80 feet across, was observed in clear weather by two male teenage witnesses at a lake for ten minutes (Killeen). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE2: Close Encounters of the Second Kind Vallee rating: CE2: A CE1 that leaves landing traces or injuries to the witness.
