Orange domed disc or triangle with rounded corners paced vehicle. When headlights turned off UFO responded by approaching rapidly.
A hovering object was observed from a car. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One orange triangle, about 20 feet across, was observed by two witnesses on a highway for over three minutes (Thornton). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
