Large red, blinking light on ground near river, suddenly took off in red blur, extremely fast. Made an arc, stopped above witnesses, blinked lights. Looked at horses, when looked back UFO was gone.
An object was observed. It moved with a falling-leaf motion. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One red light, several miles away, was observed by two female experienced witnesses on a river (Aufelt; Zufelt). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
