Ground marks, circular 10 cm wide, three big holes forming triangle, base 8.9 m, two side 4.4 m. Small footprints. Gendarmes investigated.
Objects were observed. Ground traces were found. Two red cigar-shaped objects, about 150 feet across, around 300 feet away, were observed in snowy weather by one experienced male witness on a highway (Liefooghe; Lifooghe). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE2: Close Encounters of the Second Kind Vallee rating: CE2: A CE1 that leaves landing traces or injuries to the witness. Vallee reliability rating: 314: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a casual person not familiar with the phenomena; no natural explanation possible, given the evidence.
