While snowmobiling witnesses came upon object close to railroad tracks. Glowed yellow, hovered 10 feet above tracks, 300 feet away. Rose vertically, descended behind trees.
A flying disc was observed. One yellow disc was observed by five witnesses in a rural area for two minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 342: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
