Light gray upright egg-shaped object with dark ports around circumference, hovered few feet above ground, went straight up.
An object was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One gray ovoid object was observed in overcast weather by two male witnesses, one of them an experienced observor, in a swamp for two minutes. No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 344: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; no natural explanation possible, given the evidence.
