Boy Scouts incident.
Domed disc carried white light on trailing edge, blue light on forward edge. 150 feet away, altitude 500'. A flying disc was observed. Multiple independent witnesses. One blue-white domed disc, around 300 feet away, was observed by six male witnesses in a rural area (Smythe, G). A humming sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 343: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
