In October 1960 : Monongahela Forest, West Virginia, USA 
Car approached hairy ape-like creature near the road. Car motor stopped. When large bus backed up on road to help motorist, it frightened the creature. Motor on auto then began to run.
Objects were observed. Electromagnetic effects were noted. An unidentified object at close range and its occupants were observed by one male witness on a highway (Priestley). One hairy pongid was seen. Hynek rating: CE3: Close Encounters of the Third Kind (Entity reports) Vallee rating: AN3: Anomalies with associated entities. i.e. ghosts, yetis, spirits, elves and other mythical/legendary entities.
