Rainy night, luminous ball descended, came apart in fragments with deafening explosion. Power failure, damage to buildings.
An object was observed before it exploded. Electromagnetic effects were noted. Traces found. One luminous ball was observed in rainy weather by two female witnesses in a city for ten minutes (Nunez). Hynek rating: CE2: Close Encounters of the Second Kind Vallee rating: CE2: A CE1 that leaves landing traces or injuries to the witness. Vallee reliability rating: 131: Report attributed to a known source of unknown or uncalibrated reliability; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires only slight modification of the data.
