6.5' tall being with wings like a bat, dreseed in black or dark gray tight-fitting clothes, surrounded by yellow glow. After 30 seconds light died out, lout "swoosh", torpedo-shaped UFO moved over housetops.
Close encounter with a an unidentified craft and monstrous occupants. One torpedo-shaped object was observed by three female witnesses in a residential area (Phillips; Walker). A swooshing sound was heard. One 6.5-foot-tall mothman, wearing black clothing, was seen. A huge shadow crossed the lawn; looking up into a pecan tree, Mrs. Hilda Walker and Judy Mayer, 14, saw a man 6.5 ft tall with wings like a bat, dressed in gray or black tight fitting clothes and surrounded by a glow of yellow light. After 30 seconds, the light died out, and Judy screamed. There was a loud "swoosh," and a white flash like a torpedo shaped object over the housetops across the street.
