27 July 1970 Around 0300 Alcocebre, Spain 
Nautical UFO. Object emerges from ocean and loses itself in the sky. Cylinder seen on sea floor previous day had gone.
An object was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One object was observed by two female witnesses, typical age 25, on the ocean for 12 seconds. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
