A cylindrical object with pointed end shot straight up. A moment later, after opening truck door, second object two m. long shot up.
Objects were observed. They departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. Two red cylinders, about 5 feet across, about four feet away, were observed by two male witnesses, typical age 48, on a highway briefly (Salas). A beater-like sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
