In mid-August 1954 Daytime Canadian River, Oklahoma, USA 
Flying saucer came straight down with a roar. Tall lean man, dark complexion, long beard. Witness considered by newspaper to be teller of tall tales. Explanation: Hoax.
Close encounter with a craft and its occupants. One disc was observed by one female witness on a river for a few seconds (White Eagle, F). A roaring sound was heard. One tall thin being was seen.
