Guard watches silent "pot" move north to south over trees at low altitude. Illuminates area like daytime.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One pot-shaped object was observed by a male witness on the shore for over one minute (Espinar). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
