Light passed Boeing 727 during descent. Durban control confirmed no other aircraft in area. Light accelerated and turned away. Explanation: Aircraft.
An unusual object was sighted, that had unconventional appearance and performance. One light was observed by three experienced male witnesses for five minutes (Chandler). Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
