Nautical UFO. Brilliant cone giving off flares descended into ocean. After object submerged sea became brilliant with many colors and very turbulent on that spot.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One multi-colored cone-shaped object was observed by more than three male experienced witnesses on the ocean (Dersson, K). An explosion-like sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 302: Reliable source, firsthand; no site visit, or answer unknown; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
