Watching two AT6 training planes, attention drawn to disc high above, moving rapidly in opposite direction. Object went rapidly to the south over western end of Lake Erie, gone in 11 seconds.
A flying disc was observed. One metallic disc, about 300 feet across, was observed in clear weather by one experienced male witness at a lake for 12 seconds (Swartz, D).
Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs
Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky.
Vallee reliability rating: 303: Reliable source, firsthand; no site visit, or answer unknown; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
