Project Blue Book "unidentified" case. Chemist and others saw orange object or light (the color of iron heated to 2,000deg. F); explode into view. It was seen for 3-20 seconds.
An unidentified object was sighted, that had an unusual appearance or performance. One orange light was observed by several male witnesses for 18 seconds (Gibson, J W). Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky. Vallee reliability rating: 332: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
