Dark gray oval, 50-100 feet diameter; with dark band 5-10 feet high around middle. Distance 1/4 mile. two white lights shining up, one shining down. Object illuminated by dawn sunlight. Gone in 10 seconds.
An unusual object was sighted, that had unconventional appearance and performance. One gray oval object, about 80 feet across, was observed in clear weather by three male witnesses, as reported to the police, on a highway for ten minutes (Heidman; Munger; Overton). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops. Vallee reliability rating: 303: Reliable source, firsthand; no site visit, or answer unknown; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
