Mist. Viewed through binoculars by deputy sheriff on patrol, rushing sound like air escaping tire. Inverted bowl object surrounded by blue haze, 30 feet diameter, 8-9' high, bubble at top, red glowing rim.
An object was observed. It buzzed a witness. One red domed disc, about 40 feet across, was observed by one male witness (as reported to the police) and others on a farm for 11 minutes (McKee; Powell). A hissing sound was heard.

Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
