Nicholas Rinaldi had his second sighting of a low flying cigar shaped object, following his close encounter the previous month.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One cigar-shaped object was observed by one male 37-year-old witness in a rural area for over three minutes (Rinaldi). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 443: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
