Man saw 2m long object resting on ground. 6 openings, made a very loud turbine noise. Took off when he tried to touch it, then suddently vanished.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One elongated object, about 5 feet across, about two feet away, was observed in rainy weather by one male 40-year-old witness for over four minutes (Grunewald). A turbine-like sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
