28 April 1964 After midnight Moriarty Hwy66, New Mexico, USA 
25-30 feet long UFO, luminous light green in color, hovered 100 feet overhead. Electromagnetic effect: car stalled. Man fired 6 .22-calibre pistol shots at UFO, heard bullets bounce off. As UFO moved away fired 6 more. Explanation: Hoax.
An object was observed. Electromagnetic effects were noted. One green oblong object, about 40 feet across, around 100 feet away, was observed by one male 20-year-old witness on a highway for a few minutes (Adams, D).
