27 April 1964 Afternoon El Paso, Texas, USA 
12-yr-old and 7 friends saw UFO hover above school grounds. "It seemed to be floating in the air, covered with something like a sheet. It was 6'5" tall and sort of egg-shaped."
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One ovoid object, about 10 feet across, was observed by eight witnesses at a school (Boone). Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
