Nautical UFO. Canadian ship reported that a cylindrical object with lighted portholes came down, hit the ocean, and sank off the north coast Labrador. Explanation: Meteor.
An object was sighted that had an appearance and performance beyond the capability of known earthly aircraft. One object was observed on the ocean. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area.
