Object like kite made up of little metallic balls. Moved in arc to the west, 180 degree turn, rose vertically, crossed sky east to west, stopped, went back in original direction, blinked out.
An object was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One metallic kite-like object, about 80 feet across, was observed by two witnesses, a married couple, in a residential area for ten minutes (Larsen, E). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops. Vallee reliability rating: 443: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
