Project Blue Book "unidentified" case. Landed remotely 1/2 mile away in wooded area.
An object was observed. It moved with a falling-leaf motion. One blue barrel-shaped object, about 20 feet across, was observed by two witnesses, typical age 83, on a farm for over three minutes (Songer). Hynek rating: DD: Daylight Discs Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky. Vallee reliability rating: 242: Reliable source,secondhand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
