Radar/visual confirmation. Explanation: Mirage.
Objects were tracked by radar and sighted visually. Electromagnetic effects were noted. Three objects, larger than a star, were observed in clear weather by three experienced male military witnesses at an airfield for 70 minutes (Anderson; Miller).
