Private Pilot incident.
Project Blue Book "unidentified" case. 40 feet diameter. disc with cone on top sighted by private pilot, jets pursue. Minimum distance three miles. Speed est 2000 mph, with sudden acceleration, stops. An object was tracked by radar and sighted visually. One silver domed disc, about 40 feet across, was observed by one male 41-year-old witness in-flight for over three minutes (Mack, John; Marriott). Hynek rating: RV: Radar-Visual UFO reports Vallee rating: MA2: MA1 plus any physical effects caused by the UFO. Vallee reliability rating: 433: Firsthand personal interview with the witness by a source of proven reliability; site visit by a reliable investigator with some experience; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
