Over hill two men in truck came upon colored domed disc, 100m away, 10m diameter. Object went through regular sequence of colors. When they decided to approach it took off.
An object was observed. It departed by rapidly flying straight up until lost to sight. One multi-colored domed disc, about 80 feet across, around 300 feet away, was observed by two experienced male witnesses on a river for ten minutes (Briggs; Towill). No sound was heard. Hynek rating: CE1: Close Encounters of the First Kind Vallee rating: CE1: UFO comes within 500 feet of the witness, but no after effects are suffered by the witness or the surrounding area. Vallee reliability rating: 343: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of several parameters.
