USAF F-94B incident.
Project Blue Book "unidentified" case.Bright blue light, went down, accelerated, then flew on parallel course with jet. An unidentified object was sighted, that had an unusual appearance or performance. One blue light was observed by one experienced male military witness in a warplane for 18 seconds. Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops. Vallee reliability rating: 342: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires major alteration of one parameter.
