An object, later identified as the planet Venus, was observed. One orange light was observed at a mountain for several hours (Cook). Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky. Vallee reliability rating: 341: Reliable source, firsthand; site visit by a skilled analyst; natural explanation requires only slight modification of the data.
