60m long luminous cigar flew east to west, climbing slightly. High frequency humming sound. Hazy ends. Possible 2500m altitude. Explanation: Aircraft.
A cigar-shaped object was observed. One luminous cigar-shaped object, about 150 feet across, was observed by two military witnesses at an airfield for over one minute (Salzburg). A high-pitched sound was heard. Hynek rating: NO: Nocturnal Objects Vallee rating: FB1: A simple sighting of a UFO traveling in a straight line across the sky.
