USAF B-29 345th incident.
Bright blue cylindrical object approached B-29, had pulsating exhaust trail 3x length of object, came within 3000 feet emitted luminous beam of light. An unusual object was sighted, that had unconventional appearance and performance. One blue cylinder was observed by one experienced male military witness in a warplane for 18 seconds (Smith, R W). Hynek rating: NL: Nocturnal Lights Vallee rating: MA1: A UFO has been observed which travels in a discontinuous trajectory. i.e. vertical drops, maneuvers or loops.
