EAA incident. Explanation: Flare.
200 feet long bullet shaped object. At one end a square-cut vertical fin. Color dull silver at intervals along fuselage were vertical dark bands. Hovered over Kilimanjaro several minutes, moved away fast. A hovering object was observed and photographed. One metallic bullet-shaped object, about 300 feet across, was observed by a male witness at a mountain for a few seconds (Bicknell).
